Lincolnshire Show Returns For Its 131st Year!

The Lincolnshire Show is returning to the Lincolnshire Showground for its 131st year.

The show, which takes place on June 24 and 25, sees thousands of visitors flock to Lincoln to see one of the largest horticultural and agricultural events in the UK.

This year’s headline attraction will be The Kangaroo Kid – a stuntman from Brisbane who will be bringing his unique quad bike routine to the Clydesdale Bank Main Ring during the Show.

Some of the amazing events and displays on offer include;

  • A demonstration by the Lincolnshire Police Dogs
  • The Cuerden Falconry displays featuring owls, hawks and eagles
  • Horse riding and show jumping
  • A chainsaw sculpture show
  • Local chefs showing off their skills in the Demonstration Kitchen
  • Show Chic fashion show judged by Britain’s Sexiest Farmer!

And that’s just a small selection of what’s on offer! There will be a fantastic selection of food, drink and craft stalls, live music and children’s activities, as well as flower and garden shows.

Jayne Southall, CEO of the Lincolnshire Showground, says: “The show is always two days of entertainment for everyone and this year promises to be the biggest and most varied Lincolnshire Show to date.

“We have a large variety of attractions and activities this year which are suitable for the whole family and truly highlight the best that Lincolnshire has to offer.”

If you’re looking for a hotel for the Lincolnshire Show, there are plenty of places to accommodate you for your trip, both within the city limits and the surrounding areas.
