Lodges on the Lincolnshire Coast

Everybody loves a trip to the beach and it can be made even better by staying in lodges on the Lincolnshire Coast. Along the stretch of beaches there are some incredible accommodation options available. Lincolnshire is so varied with beautiful countryside villages and quaint coastal towns, as well as the bigger cities. There is something for everyone.

If you want to be able to take a short walk or drive down to the beach and relax in a luxurious lodge, cottage or chalet in the evening, we have some great options.

Seaside Lodge

Located in the small coastal village of Anderby Creek, the Seaside Lodge offers luxurious and relaxing holiday accommodation. There are 3 blue flag beaches readily accessible to you, but the best would be the unspoiled sandy beach of Anderby Creek itself.

The lodges are self-catering and dog friendly so you can treat your furry friends to a holiday as well. Backing onto a private fishing lake and coastal grazing marsh, it is perfect for exploring and seeing if you can spot the wildlife. Furthermore, the Lincolnshire Wolds are also a short drive away if you have always wanted to visit.

The Seaside Lodge can sleep up to 4 people and has the following facilities:

  • Master double bedroom with en-suite
  • Double bedroom
  • Bathroom with deep bath and dual shower
  • Open plan living area
  • Kitchen and dining area

Thorganby Hall Beach Cottage

Another property that overlooks the picturesque beach at Anderby Creek, the Beach Cottage is perfect for a couple’s retreat. Sitting on the edge of the sand dunes, the cottage is small, but perfect for a weekend at the coast.

The Beach Cottage is dog friendly so you never have to abandon your pet at the kennels while you enjoy an escape from everyday life. It is fully equipped with everything you need and comes with the following features:

  • Master bedroom upstairs with French doors leading to a decked veranda
  • En-suite with walk in shower and bathtub
  • Additional bunk bed room for children under the age of 12
  • Open plan kitchen and living area with wood burning stove
  • Beach room with decking and outside shower

Beach Lodge Hotel

Located between Queens Park boating lake and Mablethorpe beach, the Beach Lodge Hotel is situated perfectly on the seafront. With a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere, it is perfect for a short break with the family and loved ones. While the Beach Lodge Hotel is essentially a hotel, there is an adjacent lodge.

Brentmere Lodge is situated on the grounds of the hotel and right next to the private beach access. With 2 bedrooms, the lodge can accommodate up to 4 people on a self-catering plan. Brentmere Lodge includes the following facilities:

  • One double bedroom with en-suite
  • One twin bedroom
  • Family bathroom
  • Fully fitted kitchen
  • Open plan living and dining area
  • South-facing outside seating area
  • 1 parking space outside lodge

Grasswells Farm Holiday Cottages

Based only four miles from the Lincolnshire coast, Grasswells Farm Holiday Cottages are surrounded by the countryside offering a relaxing atmosphere. Set within three acres of land, Swallow Cottage and Wren Cottage are designed to be a home away from home for its guests. They even have their very own private fishing lake on site that is well stocked with carp, bream, roach, rudd and perch.

The cottages are part of the single storey barn conversion. Swallow cottage sleeps 4/5 people and was converted from an open Victorian Cart Bay. Interestingly, it is named after the swallows that visit every summer. The cottage has some great features including:

  • The original beams
  • Fitted kitchen
  • One double bedroom
  • One twin bedroom

Wren Cottage sleeps 4 people and was formerly the granary, now with lovely French doors and great views over the farmland. As with Swallow Cottage, Wren Cottage also has a double bedroom and one twin bedroom.

A welcome pack of tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits, milk, butter, a loaf of bread, eggs and bacon will be waiting for you when you arrive!
