This magnificent stately home, built in the 16th Century for Sir William Cecil, Chief Advisor to Queen Elizabeth I, will offer you an awe-inspiring backdrop for your perfect day.
Starting from the moment you enter Burghley Park through imposing wrought iron gates, travelling through a stunning landscape that was designed by Capability Brown, you know that your fairytale wedding has begun!
Burghley House has a number of wedding packages available, starting from £1,200. Please note that food and drink is not included in any of the package prices.
The Burghley Wedding and Reception and The Burghley Reception, both of which have a venue fee of £3,960 (as of 2013). The venue fee includes:
Suitable for up to 110 guests.
The Great Hall Reception – facility fee of £3,000 (as of 2013). Available from 6pm – midnight. The venue fee includes:
Suitable for up to 110 guests.
The Orangery Reception – facility fee of £1,500 (as of 2013). Available from 6pm – midnight. The venue fee includes:
Suitable for up to 80 guests.
The Summerhouse Wedding – facility fee of £1.200 (as of 2013). Available for 3 hours, leaving no later than 4pm. The venue fee includes:
Suitable for up to 20 guests.
