The annual Lincolnshire Wolds Walking Festival is bigger and better than ever.
This year there are 128 walks held over 16 days – all in the stunning Lincolnshire Wolds, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
There are walks to suit all ages and abilities – you don’t have to be super-fit to take part in the Lincolnshire Wolds Walking Festival!
From keen ramblers to couch potatoes to parents with pushchairs – there is a walk just right for you – and everyone is made to feel very welcome.
This year’s walking festival launches with a big celebration on Saturday 16th May at Welton le Wold Quarry, Louth. There are lots of activities on offer, including guided bike rides and a high-tech treasure trail.
The finale weekend (TBC) kicks off in Snipe Dales Country Park, with a fun open day, craft fair and evening BBQ. Sunday’s finale consists of a celebratory walk followed by lots of delicious cake!
Why not come along and give it a try – you can make new friends, explore the beautiful countryside, and keep fit – oh yes, and the walks are free. Marvellous!
