Helsey House Holiday Cottages

Helsey House Holiday Cottages are located in within the grounds of Helsey House, in the tiny hamlet of Hogsthorpe, in the heart of rural Lincolnshire. The sea – at Chapel St. Leonards – is just a 5 minute drive away. The lovely market town of Alford -the home of Lincolnshire Poacher Cheese – is 15 minutes away.

Helsey Cottages, converted from an old farm building, are light, airy and spacious. They offer a high standard of self-catering accommodation – guests can even arrange to have groceries waiting for them upon their arrival!

There are 2 ground floor cottages for hire, The Cow Shed and The Dairy.

The Dairy has disabled access and is wheelchair-friendly. Families who have children with mobility problems are especially welcome (a shower wheelchair, toilet seat riser, hoist and electric wheelchair are all available – just ask at the time of booking).


There are 2 ground floor cottages for hire;

  • The Cow Shed – sleeps up to 5.
  • The Dairy – sleeps up to 5. Wheelchair-friendly.
  • Both cottages have been renovated to a very high standard. They are open plan, light and modern and very comfortable.
  • Both cottages have 1 double and 1 twin bedroom.
  • Bathrooms have a bath and separate shower enclosure.


  • Well-equipped kitchen with cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer etc.
