"An authentic taste of Spain in the heart of Lincoln's Cathedral Quarter"

Ole Ole is a superb little tapas bar on Bailgate that is a great favourite with locals and visitors alike. Everyone who eats here falls in love with the place – including us.
It’s more than just a restaurant, it’s a wonderful dining experience that brings a whole new dimension to Lincoln’s eateries. Meals at Ole Ole are very Spanish and are a great sociable event. If you order tapas, the dishes are brought to your table in a continuous procession rather than coming all at once – turning your meal into a leisurely continental celebration of food rather than the usual British ‘eat your meal quickly and leave’. It’s very relaxing and very civilised.
The restaurant is small and intimate, with friendly and attentive staff giving you a warm Spanish welcome as you enter (Ole Ole is owned by an Anglo-Spanish family and staffed by Spaniards). The staff are as good as the food, and help to make Ole Ole such a happy, relaxing place to eat.
Ole Ole serves traditional Spanish tapas and paella, alongside a wide choice of Chef’s Specials and Sharing Platters. All meals are freshly cooked, and are mouth-wateringly delicious and plentiful – we guarantee you won’t leave the restaurant hungry! There are also plenty of vegetarian and gluten-free dishes to choose from.
To complement you’re meal, there is a good selection of Spanish wines, beers, and of course, Sangria.
A charming courtyard at the back of the restaurant is a delightful place to eat during warmer weather.
As Ole Ole is very popular, we recommend that you book in advance if you want to eat there at the weekend or in the evening.
Ole Ole has a fantastic great value lunch-time special for 2 people:
We had it and we love it. We’re sure that you will too!
