From Sunday 9 February (Sundays and Wednesdays only until 5 April) our gardens will open for the new season. It’s a chance to enjoy a dazzling pageant of bulbs–the delicate, the bold and the unusual–throughout the Gardens, heralding the beginning of spring and the soil’s reawakening in preparation for the summer.
Leading the procession are wonderful snowdrops, winter aconites, Cyclamen coum, and Crocus tommasinianus. This will continue through March and early April with a lot of Lent lilies and wonderful collection of heritage daffodils, dog’s tooth pagodas and snake’s head fritillaries until May.
Gardens open 9 February – 1 April, SUNDAYS & WEDNESDAYS ONLY, 11am – 4.30pm
Garden admission applies: Adult £7.50, Child 3.50, Family £19
Tickets available on arrival at the Gatehouse. Historic Houses, RHS & Gardeners World 2 for 1 accepted.
The Gardens are open from Sunday 9 February (11am to 4.30pm / House closed). From 5 April, they are open (with the House) on Wednesdays, Fridays, Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays.
